Thank you very much for your visit today. I was very edified to hear of the work
and hopes of the Catholic Chamber of Commerce. Thank you for your dedication and
efforts, which are a real reflection of your Faith. The work and mission of the
Catholic Chamber or Commerce certainly reflect the teaching of the Second
Vatican Council on the mission of the Laity: to bring the presence of Christ in
the "market place" and daily life.
The mission of the Catholic Chamber of Commerce also reinforces that we are a
"Community of Faith", truly the family of God. This reflects the mystery of
Church as a "communion", which is quite contrast to the individualism that is so
prevalent in the Western culture.
May the Lord bless you, and the Catholic Chamber of Commerce in your daily work
